The Soda Blast Cabinet is designed for use in manual cleaning to quickly blast away carbon and other soils in an efficient manner. It is a fully contained working enclosure that protects the operator from dust and other contaminants. It includes cotton lined work gloves, air safety door interlock, foot pedal operation, ceramic nozzle assembly and fluorescent lighting, providing the operator with clear vision of the abrasive cleaning process.

The unit incorporates an ASME rated pressure vessel that contains the Soda Blast Media, and a control manifold designed to regulate the flow of compressed air and media to the nozzle.

The dust collector exhaust fan combined with the air intake on the blast cabinet creates an internal airflow through the enclosure to provide adequate visibility during the cleaning operation. In addition, the dust collector captures spent media and soils that are removed in the cleaning process and retains this waste in the primary and secondary filters located inside a 30-gallon drum.

  • The air system is equipped with arm length cloth lined rubber gloves that are sealed to the cabinet.
  • Cabinet hopper is designed for immediate removal of spent media and soils to enhance viewing.
  • Interlocking on-off switch controls both the dust collector blower motor and cabinet lights.
  • High efficiency dust collector with two-stage filtration.
  • Spent media and soils are deposited and contained within a 30-gallon drum for safe and easy disposal.
  • Unused Soda Blast Media contains no toxic chemicals and is non-hazardous.
